At Cotisens Solicitors, we conduct a wide range of criminal law matters right from voluntary attendances at the police station all the way through to the Crown Court and Court of Appeal.
The Team
We have four members of the team who may work on your matter. Regardless of who works on your matter, they will be supervised by Denise Cole, Partner and Head of our Criminal Law Department or one of the other partners of the firm.
Denise Cole
Partner/Solicitor Advocate
Denise Cole is the head of our criminal law team. She qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and has more than 20 years’ experience in criminal defence work.Â
She is a Police Station Duty Solicitor and Crown Court Solicitor Advocate, providing a seamless experience right from initial arrest all the way to the Crown Court.
Adekunle Tijani
Partner/Solicitor Advocate
Adekunle Tijani (TJ), heads our London Office. He qualified as a solicitor in 1999, initially in Immigration Law and then specialising in Criminal Defence Work. He is a Crown Court Advocate who regularly represents our clients from initial stages at the Police Station, through to the Magistrates Court ad Crown Court.Â
He has more than 20 years’ experience in criminal defence work.
Nike Otubusen
Partner/Solicitor Advocate
Nike Otubusen is a solicitor who qualified in 1999. She is our Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP)  and Finance and Administration (COFA).Â
She is a Duty Solicitor and Crown Court Advocate.
Sandra Wilkins
Practice Manager
Sandra Wilkins is the Practice Manager with over 20 years in Criminal Defence Work and Case Management.
She is the first point of contact for most of our clients and always goes above and beyond her normal duties to ensure a satisfactory resolution of any issues raised.
